The odds to claim next season’s NBA Tournament when making an online NBA gamble are on the board at the online sportsbook with the Miami heat somewhat liked over the two-time reigning champ Los Angeles Lakers.
The Heat is +150 at the Internet sportsbook while the Lakers are +250. Every other squad is listed by sportsbook odds with double-digit odds to win the 2010-2011 NBA championship. The Miami Heat made a major splash in free agency since they were in a position to get Dwyane Wade to accompany LeBron James and Chris Bosh. Before their new competitor additions, Miami went from double-digit odds to the fave to win next year’s championship. It won’t be effortless, however, since they will still have to get past Los Angeles.
The Miami Heat are doing a drive to become the next major superteam in basketball odds. Media outlets are now calling the 2010 season as the “Miami Thrice” era thanks to Miami signing on Wade, James and Bosh. Derek Fisher, who has played with the Los Angeles Lakers for 11 years, is 1 of several other participants that the Miami Heat have attempted to obtain. But the most recent time the Miami Heat were in the NBA Finals was the 2005 season, when they beat the Dallas Mavericks 4-2. Even so, that’s been their only NBA Finals appearance in the history of the franchise. There’s no assurance yet that it’ll happen, even though they could be trying to turn that around now. Meanwhile, the Lakers continue to have 1 of the most extraordinary playoff records in the complete league.
The Orlando Magic is still regarded as a menace to win the championship as they’re 10-1. The Celtics are the third choice in NBA odds with odds of 12-1. Head coach Doc Rivers is coming back, plus the Boston Celtics retained their major three of Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce and Ray Allen, so the Boston Celtics should be very great again next season.
Chicago is expected to be much better since they added Carlos Boozer in the off-season. The Bulls are 15-1 to secure next year’s championship. Dallas still has Dirk Nowitzki and they’re 18-1. Denver’s core around Carmelo Anthony is still intact and they’re also 18-1. Oklahoma City has leading scorer Kevin Durant and plenty of young skill and they’re 18-1. Atlanta got Joe Johnson and they’re next at 25-1. San Antonio’s veteran squad is 28-1. Utah lost Carlos Boozer but received Al Jefferson and they’re 30-1. Houston gets Yao Ming back from injury and they’re 35-1. The Knicks have Amar’e Stoudmire and they’re 35-1. The Suns are 35-1 after losing Stoudemire as are the Portland Trail Blazers whereas Milwaukee and New Orleans have odds of 40-1.
With regards to winning the NBA championship this year, there are plenty of real long shot squads. Memphis, Charlotte and Washington are 50-1. With LeBron James now gone, Cleveland went from 1 of the faves to a 60-1 long shot. Detroit, Indiana, Philadelphia and the Los Angeles Clippers are 100-1 while Golden State is 75-1. Minnesota, Sacramento, Toronto and New Jersey are improbable long shots at 150-1 each.
